About this event
A proper Sunday roast at The Fisherman’s Arms, tucked up on Lambhay Street above the Barbican. We take the long table at the back for twelve people and stay there for the afternoon.
Three courses: something to share, your pick of roast, and a pudding. Drinks are on you, but a welcome drink is included in the booking.
Come on your own. That is rather the point. Your hosts do the introductions, keep the conversation moving, and make sure nobody ends up talking to the wall.
What to expect
- Arrive from 12:30pm, we sit down at 1pm
- Starters to share, then your roast, then pudding
- A proper long lunch: no agenda, no name games
- We finish around 4pm and the pub stays open

We picked The Fisherman's Arms because it is the oldest pub in Plymouth and it still feels like one: low ceilings, no music competing with you, and a back room where twelve people can genuinely hear each other for four hours.
