Sub-Processors
Last updated: the 31st of July 2026
This page lists the third-party services that process personal data to run UK Socials, what each receives, and where they are. Each processes data only on our instructions, under contract terms that require them to protect it. Our Privacy Policy Β§5 explains the full picture.
We update this page when a processor is added, removed or changed. A change that materially affects how your data is handled is notified at least 14 days ahead by internal message.
Active processors
| Processor | What they do | Data they receive | Location and safeguard |
|---|---|---|---|
| GoDaddy (hosting) | Hosts the website, database and files | All site data, as the servers it lives on | UK and EU data centres |
| Stripe (payments) | Subscription payments, event-ticket payments, refunds, fraud checks. Stripe Connect routes each ticket sale to the organiser’s own Stripe account with our 5% commission split automatically | Name, email, payment amounts, payment identifiers. Card numbers are held by Stripe alone and never reach us | UK, EU and US; UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework |
| Google Workspace, Gmail API (email) | Sends our transactional email (verification, password changes, receipts, export links, breach notices). We send no marketing email | Recipient address and message content | Google infrastructure; UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework |
| Google Maps and Places | Venue lookup on organiser and venue forms; maps on event pages | Address and venue searches typed into those forms; map tiles requested by pages you view | As above |
| Google Fonts | Serves the site’s two typefaces | Standard web-request data (IP address) when fonts load | As above |
| Google Analytics | Aggregate usage statistics, only if you opt in to analytics cookies | Usage analytics identifiers | As above; off until consented |
| postcodes.io (postcode lookup) | Confirms a typed postcode is real and returns its coordinates | The postcode alone; no name, no account identifier | UK (open service run on UK/EU infrastructure) |
| CookieYes (consent banner) | Shows the cookie banner and records your choices | Your consent choices, stored in your own browser; nothing is sent to CookieYes’s servers in our configuration | EU |
Software running on our own servers
These do not receive your data externally; they are software processing it inside our own infrastructure: WordPress core, BuddyPress (the member system), Paid Memberships Pro (subscription billing logic), and the platform’s own first-party plugins. A current full plugin list is available on request: info@uksocials.club.
What we do not use
- No advertising networks, and no marketing or social-media tracking pixels of any kind
- No data brokers, in either direction: we neither buy data about you nor sell data about you
- No AI or machine-learning training on member content, ours or anyone else’s
- No analytics that identify individual members
When this list changes
