Welcome to UKSocials for Venues
UKSocials.Club
What UKSocials Is
UKSocials is a platform that encourages real-world meetups and combats loneliness. We connect people who want to socialise in person. Your venue is where the magic happens - the place where strangers become friends.
What Makes a Great Venue Profile
- Photos of people socialising - not just décor. Show groups having fun at your venue.
- Honest accessibility info - wheelchair access, noise levels, quiet spaces. This matters enormously and drives bookings.
- Style tags - "Conversation-friendly", "Good for groups", "Solo-friendly" help people find you.
- Pricing transparency - typical drink prices, food options, group deals.
Your Profile Checklist
- Cover photo and logo
- 5+ gallery photos (ideally of social events, not empty rooms)
- Full opening hours
- Complete accessibility details
- At least 3 style tags
- Pricing info (even basic ranges help)
- Google Maps link
How Events Work at Your Venue
Organisers on UKSocials can list events at your location. When they do, the event automatically links to your venue page - bringing traffic and visibility. You can also create your own events directly.
Booking Enquiries
Members who want to ask about a booking or a group visit contact you by message. Once a member has shown interest in your venue, their Show Interest button becomes a Message button, and the Message button in the Owner Contact widget on your profile works for them too. Their messages arrive in your Messages, where you can reply. Reply promptly: it makes a real difference.
If your profile shows the Contact & Hours widget, members can also see the phone number, email address and website you have given us, and contact you directly.
What We Value
- Welcoming newcomers - make people feel at ease
- Group-friendly spaces - communal tables, private areas for meetups
- Conversation-friendly spaces - not too loud, good lighting
- Accessible facilities - step-free access, accessible restrooms
- Non-alcohol-centric options - soft drinks, coffee, food
Venues that actively support social meetups get Featured on the platform.
What We Don't Do
We are not a restaurant review site. There are no star ratings, no competing on food quality. We care about one thing: whether your space helps people connect.
How Verification Works
Every venue on UKSocials is checked by our team before it goes live. There is one question: is this a real venue? Once we confirm it is, your account has everything a venue account offers, including posting events.
- You apply with a business email address (one on your venue's own domain is the quickest proof), at least one online link such as your website, Google Business, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn or TripAdvisor page, and your venue picked from Google.
- We check it. An admin reviews your details and may send a confirmation link to your business email.
- Once approved, your venue profile goes live, your venue appears in the venue directory and you can post events straight away. Until then you can log in and look around, but you cannot publish events.
What Your Venue Gets
Once you are live, your venue account gives you:
- Your venue profile, laid out the way you choose, with your photos, opening hours, accessibility details and location.
- Your events: the events you post and the events organisers hold at your venue, shown on your profile and in the events listings.
- Bookings for the events you post, made by members on the platform, and messages from members through your profile.
- Reviews from your Google listing, which you can show on your profile.
