This policy explains how UK Socials (uksocials.club) uses cookies and similar technologies on your device, what they do, and how you control them.

What cookies are

They do useful things: keep you logged in, remember your preferences, protect against attacks. They can also be used for tracking, which is why the law requires your consent for any cookie that is not strictly necessary.
The four categories
You choose per category, using the banner on your first visit or the Cookie Settings link in the footer at any time.
1. Strictly necessary
The site cannot work without these: staying logged in, security, checkout state, remembering your cookie choices. The law does not require consent for them because they exist solely to deliver the service you asked for.
2. Functional
These remember choices that make the site nicer but not essential. We ask before setting them.
3. Analytics
These help us understand usage in aggregate (which pages, how long, where people get stuck) via Google Analytics. Off by default; set only if you opt in.
4. Marketing and advertising
We use none. No ads run on UK Socials and no data goes to advertising networks. The category exists in the banner for completeness; if that ever changed we would update this policy and ask you first.

Managing your choices
On UK Socials
- The first-visit banner offers Accept All, Reject All, and Customise, with rejecting exactly as easy as accepting. Nothing non-essential is set until you choose.
- Change your mind at any time with the Cookie Settings link in the footer, which reopens the banner.
- Your choice is remembered for 12 months, after which we ask again.
In your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of UK Socials working, including login.
Browser privacy signals
Our consent banner is currently the way to set your choices on UK Socials: we do not yet read automated browser signals such as Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. Rejecting non-essential cookies in the banner takes a single click and achieves the same result.
